A school built on academics and character
Crested Crane Academy is a private school in Lusaka, Zambia, educating learners from Nursery through to Grade 12. We offer both the Zambian curriculum and the Cambridge IGCSE programme, giving our learners a foundation that is locally relevant and internationally recognised.
Founded on a strong Christian foundation, we pair academic rigour and discipline with genuine character development — helping every child grow academically, personally and spiritually as they prepare for further education and for life beyond school.
Our story
Established in 2009
Crested Crane Academy was established in 2009 in Lusaka, Zambia, with a commitment to providing a strong academic foundation alongside genuine character development. Since then, the school has continued to build its academic offering — combining the Zambian curriculum with the Cambridge IGCSE programme — while holding to its Christian foundation and its motto, “In Quest For Excellence”.

Life at school
A well-rounded learning environment
Learners progress through Nursery, Primary and Secondary classes, following the Zambian curriculum alongside the Cambridge IGCSE programme. Alongside core academics, learners take French and Chinese, and take part in sports and extracurricular activities including football, basketball, archery and agriculture clubs. Boarding is available from Grade 1 to 12, with 24-hour supervision.
